D.S. Bradford

D. S. Bradford is a musician and visual artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Bradford has been a guitarist for 30 years and began writing songs as a teenager, shortly after writing poetry. In 2007, Bradford joined Certain Tragedy, a Philadelphia-based rock band, as lead guitarist and songwriter. The band performed in some of the area's most iconic venues during their tenure. In 2010, Bradford branched out as a solo artist and honed his songwriting and production chops with help from multiple award-winning artist development coach, producer, and composer Jeff Blue (Linkin Park), whose influence helped shape the budding artist's unique pop/punk/prog sound. In 2014, he issued his first official single, "Oceans," with plans to release his debut studio EP in the near future. The ambitious concept EP Elemental Evolution arrived in August 2016.

After releasing his EP Elemental Evolution in 2016, his focus turned to the visual arts, most notably in the augmented reality medium. In 2020, Bradford became the first artist to create accessible virtual art on the International Space Station and conceptually on Mars. Gifted in web design and creating visual motion graphics videos, Bradford has helped businesses and individuals to realize their online presence through his company DSB Design Agency. Bradford has created motion graphics and videos – producing for artist Weerd Science, Evil Ink Records (record label founded by Coheed And Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez), BOOM! Studios (notably with Keanu Reeves’ new series BRZRKR), and Serj Tankian (System Of A Down). Bradford’s insight and thoughtful creativity has won over audiences spectating his own art ventures, as well as those of his partners.

In 2022, Bradford resumed composing scores for trailers in earnest, along with his animation work with BOOM! Studios, some of which premiered at San Diego Comic Con International.

On April 21, 2023, Bradford released a new album entitled A Bridge, a collection of short (a.k.a. abridged) instrumental music pieces along with artwork associated with the release. A Bridge is the first album Bradford released that has amassed over 1M streams on Spotify.

Bradford is an authorized Apple Digital Masters studio engineer and producer, as well as a mixing engineer specializing in Dolby Atmos.
